History

Events
There are two major events I "fucanoli" and "Chien" (a pagan tradition) and I fucanoli chiena are two events of importance for the vitality of the historic center and the supply of shows and festival that the city offers visitors respectively in January and August. In the first case we are faced with the celebration of St. Antonio on a religious procession, and the city center, comes alive the fire of those "fucanoli," that is burning pyres of which are burnt in different parts of town (Houses) and, among the crackling of the flames and smoke, try pinning inviting places to eat, where you can taste the local culinary specialties, in an atmosphere evocative of winter, very cozy and warm by fucanoli, the hospitality of the inhabitants and from the songs and dances typical of the area campagnes.
