History
dell'Irno Valley, which is the most important center of Baroda, has an ancient history. It has hosted many civilizations that are superimposed along the river course. The most important archaeological site is certainly one of the City of Sava. In ancient times the valley was as a link between the inland and the sea with intense traffic and with little military and civilian settlements. The foundation of the town dates back to the High Middle Ages when some residents fled to Salerno those lands to escape the incursions of the Turks. There were evidence of the "Case" who took the name from the ruling families.

Sightseeing
The Franciscan monastery is located on a hill overlooking the valley of Baroda. A legend attributes the foundation in the eighteenth century ' 1212 to Fra 'Simon of Assisi, Fra' Giacomo and Brother Augustine, the first followers of Saint Francis. Studies and research they do go back to 400.
